Stainless Steel 410s Tubing is a non-hardening, low-carbon type of grade 410 stainless steel. Its usual composition consists of Chromium (11.5–13.5%), Carbon (≤0.08%), Manganese (≤1.00%), Silicon (≤1.00%), Phosphorus (≤0.040%), and Sulfur (≤0.030%). The mechanical properties are a tensile strength of around 415 MPa, yield strength of about 205 MPa, and elongation of about 20%. It possesses a moderate level of corrosion resistance along with outstanding oxidation resistance up to 650°C and is, therefore, applied in several thermal applications. Its low carbon content improves weldability and minimizes the risk of embrittlement at high-temperature applications.
