Stainless Steel 409 Tubing is mainly composed of iron, chromium (10.5–11.75%), and trace elements such as titanium and carbon. It is ferritic stainless steel that displays high oxidation and corrosion resistance, particularly in mildly corrosive situations. Its mechanical characteristics comprise tensile strength of approximately 380–620 MPa, yield strength of about 170 MPa, and elongation of 20%.
