Stainless Steel 347 and 347H Welded Tubing are stabilized austenitic stainless steels that contain approximately 17–20% chromium, 9–13% nickel, and columbium (niobium) to enhance intergranular corrosion resistance. The 347H variant has a higher carbon content (around 0.04–0.10%) which boosts its creep strength. These grades deliver a tensile strength of about 515 MPa, a yield strength of roughly 205 MPa, and an elongation of up to 40%. They maintain excellent mechanical properties even in high-temperature settings, showing strong resistance to oxidation and scaling, making them ideal for prolonged use under elevated heat and pressure.
