321 and 321H Stainless Steel are titanium-stabilized austenitic stainless steels. Their usual composition is Chromium (17-19%), Nickel (9-12%), and Titanium (not less than 5 times carbon content). 321H has a greater content of carbon for enhanced strength at high temperatures. These grades provide excellent resistance to intergranular corrosion, particularly after welding. Mechanical properties consist of a minimum tensile strength of 515 MPa, minimum yield strength of 205 MPa, and minimum elongation of 40%, which makes them adequate for severe thermal and mechanical conditions.
