Our Stainless Steel 317 and 317L welded pipes are composed of 18–20% chromium, 11–15% nickel, and 3–4% molybdenum, with 317L featuring a reduced carbon content (maximum 0.03%) to enhance weldability and resistance to intergranular corrosion. These materials provide impressive tensile strength of around 515 MPa, yield strength of about 205 MPa, and elongation close to 35%. The added molybdenum boosts resistance to chemical attacks, while the low carbon content in 317L helps prevent carbide precipitation, making these pipes ideal for welding and high-corrosion applications without sacrificing mechanical performance.
