Stainless Steel 316Ti Instrumentation Tubing consists of Chromium (16–18%), Nickel (10–14%), Molybdenum (2–3%), and Titanium (≥5xC%). Titanium stabilization improves resistance to intergranular corrosion. It possesses tensile strength of about 515 MPa, yield strength of about 205 MPa, and elongation 40% in 50 mm. The tube provides great toughness, even at cryogenic temperatures, with the Brinell Hardness of ≤217 HB. The constitution and characteristics of the tube qualify it for high-pressure, high-temperature, and corrosive conditions prevalent in chemical and instrumentation systems.
