Stainless Steel 316Ti Heat Exchanger Tubing has about 16–18% Chromium, 10–14% Nickel, 2–3% Molybdenum, and up to 0.7% Titanium, with Iron being the major element. The presence of Titanium stabilizes the microstructure, improving resistance against sensitization. Its mechanical characteristics consist of tensile strength of approximately 515 MPa, yield strength of 205 MPa, and elongation of 35%. The tube is highly resistant to high-temperature strength as well as corrosion, particularly in chloride-enriched environments. With favorable formability and weldability, 316Ti is suitable for critical applications where it is needed under thermal as well as chemical stress.
