Stainless Steel 310 and 310S Instrumentation Tubing is crafted with a high content of Chromium (24–26%) and Nickel (19–22%), providing remarkable oxidation and corrosion resistance. The 310S grade features lower carbon levels, which improve weldability and minimize carbide precipitation. Typical mechanical properties include a minimum tensile strength of 515 MPa, yield strength of 205 MPa, and an elongation of 40%. This alloy performs exceptionally well at elevated temperatures and retains its mechanical integrity during thermal cycling. Its resistance to high-temperature creep and structural stability make it ideal for instrumentation in extreme heat and oxidizing conditions.
