Stainless Steel 310 and 310S Welded Tubing are high-alloy austenitic stainless steels offering superior high-temperature resistance. The general composition consists of Chromium (24–26%), Nickel (19–22%), Manganese (≤2%), and Carbon (≤0.25% in case of 310, ≤0.08% in case of 310S). The mechanical properties comprise a tensile strength of approximately 520 MPa, a yield strength of 205 MPa, and elongation of 40%. These grades have superb resistance to oxidation to 1100°C and retain mechanical strength during thermal cycling and are therefore ideal for severe thermal and chemical conditions.
