Stainless Steel 309H Tubing is an austenitic stainless steel that contains about 22–24% chromium and 12–15% nickel, along with a high carbon content of up to 0.08%, which boosts its strength at high temperatures. It provides excellent oxidation resistance up to 1038°C (1900°F). Typically, the tubing has a tensile strength of 515 MPa, a yield strength of 205 MPa, and an elongation of around 40%.
