Its typical chemical makeup features Chromium (17–19%), Nickel (4–6%), Manganese (7.5–10%), along with trace amounts of Carbon, Silicon, and Nitrogen. This blend provides moderate corrosion resistance and solid mechanical properties. It boasts a tensile strength of about 515 MPa, a yield strength of roughly 275 MPa, and an elongation of 40% over 50mm. The tubing also shows good toughness at lower temperatures and excellent weldability, making it ideal for various industrial forming and fabrication applications.
