SA214 Tubes are constructed from carbon steel with a standard chemical composition of 0.18% max Carbon, 0.27–0.63% Manganese, 0.035% maximum Phosphorus, and 0.035% maximum Sulfur. These tubes have excellent mechanical properties with a minimum tensile strength of 380 MPa, minimum yield strength of 205 MPa, and elongation of 35% in 50 mm. They are engineered for usage in high-temperature conditions and possess great formability and weldability and are very suitable for boiler, superheater, and heat exchanger usage in harsh industrial environments.
