Incoloy Pipes are nickel-iron-chromium-based alloys of the following primary constituents: around 42–46% nickel, 19–23.5% chromium, along with trace amounts of molybdenum, copper, titanium, and iron. This constitution provides excellent resistance to oxidation, carburization, and sulfidation at high temperatures. Mechanically, Incoloy tubes provide superior strength with tensile strength of 585–790 MPa and yield strength of 240–360 MPa. Incoloy tubes continue to possess high performance even when they are subjected to thermal cycling and severe chemical environments, so it is used in severe industrial applications that need toughness as well as metallurgical stability.
