Hastelloy Pipes are mainly made of a nickel base, alloyed with other elements such as molybdenum, chromium, cobalt, and iron, based on the particular grade such as C-22 or C-276. This makes them highly resistant to corrosion, especially in acidic and high-temperature conditions. Mechanically, these pipes have a tensile strength of about 690 MPa, yield strength of about 283 MPa, and elongation of up to 45%. Hastelloy does not lose its strength and flexibility even in harsh conditions, so it is best suited for applications of high performance where both long life and corrosion resistance are required.
