Copper Nickel Welded Tubing is generally made from Cu-Ni 90/10 (90% Copper, 10% Nickel) or 70/30 (70% Copper, 30% Nickel) alloys. The addition of small amounts of Iron and Manganese boosts strength and enhances resistance to seawater corrosion and biofouling. These welded tubes boast a tensile strength ranging from 310 to 520 MPa and a yield strength of 100 to 250 MPa, depending on the specific grade. With impressive elongation (up to 40%) and solid thermal and electrical conductivity, the tubing also resists erosion and stress corrosion cracking. The welded construction allows for cost-effective production while ensuring high dimensional accuracy and a long service life, even in tough operating conditions.
