Copper Nickel Tubing is usually made up of 90% copper and 10% nickel (Cu-Ni 90/10) or 70% copper and 30% nickel (Cu-Ni 70/30), with minor additions of iron and manganese to improve strength and corrosion resistance. The tubes have high mechanical properties, such as tensile strength ranging from 275–350 MPa and yield strength ranging from 105–150 MPa. They are ductile, resistant to impact, and have stability at high temperatures.
