Copper Nickel Boiler Tubing consists of 90% copper and 10% nickel with minor additions of manganese and iron to provide corrosion resistance and mechanical strength. The alloy provides superior resistance to seawater and high-temperature conditions. Its mechanical properties are tensile strength of about 310–350 MPa, yield strength of about 130 MPa, and elongation of 30% or higher, depending on grade. These make the tubing structurally sound withstanding pressure and heat, and thus very dependable for critical boiler and condenser applications in marine and industrial processes.
