Carbon Steel JISG3461 pipes contain mainly low to medium carbon content, which increases strength and ductility. The common chemical content consists of carbon (C) to a maximum of 0.25%, manganese (Mn) between 0.30-0.90%, and traces of sulfur, phosphorus, and silicon. Mechanically, the pipes have superior tensile strength of 410-550 MPa and yield strength of about 245 MPa. They possess good elongation of about 23-30% and impact properties, thus making them fit for challenging industrial conditions.
