Ojas’s aluminium pipes generally comprise alloys like 6061, 6063, or 6082 made up of aluminium, magnesium, and silicon for added strength and resistance against corrosion. They have a good combination of mechanical properties: tensile strength of 150 to 290 MPa, good fatigue life, and high strength-to-weight ratio. Their density is about 2.7 g/cm³, with a melting point of about 660°C.
