Aluminium 5754 Tubing is an aluminium-magnesium alloy that mainly consists of aluminium (about 95.7–97.7%), along with 2.6–3.6% Magnesium, and trace amounts of Chromium (up to 0.3%), Manganese (up to 0.5%), and other elements like Iron, Silicon, and Zinc. While it’s non-heat-treatable, it gains strength through cold working. In the H111 or H22 temper, it boasts a tensile strength ranging from 190–330 MPa and a yield strength of 80–280 MPa, with elongation reaching up to 12–20%. Known for its exceptional corrosion resistance, especially against seawater, and excellent weldability, it’s ideal for structural, marine, and pressure applications.
