Monel K500 tubing is mainly made up of Nickel (63%) and Copper (28–34%), along with small amounts of Aluminum (0.4–0.7%), Titanium (0.4–0.8%), and trace elements of Iron and Manganese. These alloying components contribute to its impressive strength through precipitation hardening. The mechanical properties include a tensile strength ranging from 800 to 1,100 MPa, yield strength between 450 and 750 MPa, and an elongation of about 20 to 30%. Additionally, Monel K500 tubing shows outstanding resistance to seawater corrosion, stress corrosion cracking, and fatigue, ensuring it performs well even in harsh mechanical and corrosive environments.
