Duplex Steel Seamless Pipes are made from a carefully balanced blend of about 22% Chromium, 5–6% Nickel, 3% Molybdenum, along with trace amounts of Nitrogen. This unique chemical makeup creates a dual-phase microstructure—50% austenite and 50% ferrite—resulting in pipes that exhibit outstanding strength and corrosion resistance. They have a minimum yield strength of 450 MPa and a tensile strength of 620 MPa, with good elongation (typically around 25%). These pipes maintain their mechanical integrity even in harsh, high-pressure conditions and demonstrate excellent resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking, particularly in chloride-rich environments.
