Monel K500 Pipes are made up of about 63% nickel and 27–33% copper, with aluminum (2.3–3.15%) and titanium (0.35–0.85%) added for precipitation hardening. This alloy boasts impressive strength, hardness, and corrosion resistance, particularly in marine and chemical settings. K500 can achieve tensile strength up to 1100 MPa and yield strength around 790 MPa after age hardening. It maintains excellent toughness and mechanical integrity across a temperature range from sub-zero to 600°F (315°C). The alloy is non-magnetic in its annealed state and offers good machinability and weldability, making it suitable for complex, high-performance piping systems.
