Tantalum pipes are mostly made up of 99.9% pure tantalum (Ta), with minute traces of niobium, tungsten, and molybdenum. The high purity guarantees superior corrosion resistance, particularly in acidic conditions. Tantalum has a melting point of 3017°C, tensile strength of 207 MPa, and has good ductility and formability. It has a Brinell hardness of approximately 60 HB and has stability in extreme temperatures. Its mechanical properties are steady, thus making it ideal for its application in conditions of long-term durability and resistance to chemicals.
