Inconel 718 Tubing is made up of Nickel (50–55%), Chromium (17–21%), Niobium (4.75–5.5%), and Molybdenum (2.8–3.3%), along with trace amounts of Titanium, Aluminum, Iron, and other elements. This tubing boasts a tensile strength of about 1,240 MPa and a yield strength of around 1,030 MPa, along with excellent resistance to fatigue and creep. Inconel 718 maintains its properties even at temperatures reaching 700°C. It is precipitation-hardenable, providing a great balance of formability and weldability, while also resisting oxidation, pitting, and stress-corrosion cracking—making it ideal for extreme service conditions.
