18–20% Chromium, 8–11% Nickel alloy stainless Steel 304H has added Carbon (0.04–0.10%) to develop high-temperature strength, along with Manganese, Silicon, and traces of Phosphorus and Sulfur. The mechanical properties of the alloy are very good with a tensile strength of 515 MPa (minimum), yield strength of 205 MPa (minimum), and elongation of 40%. Being highly resistant to oxidation and stress corrosion cracking, 304H is best suited for applications in high temperature environments where structural integrity and longevity are critical.
