Stainless Steel 321/321H Heat Exchanger Tubing consists of approximately 17–19% chromium, 9–12% nickel, a titanium stabilizer, and controlled carbon levels (low in 321, around 0.04–0.10% in 321H). It boasts a tensile strength of about 515 MPa, a yield strength of roughly 205 MPa, and an elongation of around 40%. The titanium content enhances resistance to carbide precipitation, while the higher carbon in 321H improves creep strength at elevated temperatures. This tubing offers excellent resistance to stress rupture, thermal fatigue, and oxidation, making it highly suitable for continuous exposure to temperatures up to approximately 900°C.
