Duplex Steel S31803 Tubing is generally composed of about 21–23% Chromium, 4.5–6.5% Nickel, 2.5–3.5% Molybdenum, along with a touch of Nitrogen (0.08–0.2%). This well-balanced chemical makeup grants it excellent resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, and chloride stress corrosion cracking. The tubing boasts a high tensile strength of around 620 MPa, a yield strength of roughly 450 MPa, and an elongation of up to 25%. Its duplex microstructure not only ensures good weldability but also provides high fatigue strength and durability under extreme pressure and temperature. These mechanical properties make it a perfect fit for harsh environments where both corrosion resistance and mechanical integrity are essential.
