Nickel Alloy 201 Tubing is made up of at least 99.0% pure nickel, with a reduced carbon content (maximum 0.02%) compared to Nickel 200. It also contains small amounts of iron, copper, manganese, silicon, and sulfur. This low carbon composition significantly boosts its resistance to graphitization at high temperatures. In terms of mechanical properties, it boasts a tensile strength of around 380 MPa, a yield strength of 90 MPa, and an elongation of about 45%. The alloy retains excellent ductility and toughness, even in extreme temperatures, making it perfect for sensitive chemical processes and thermal cycling applications.
